DESIGN BRIEF
The 2024 moon phase calendar project delved into the intricate integration of moon phase animations with a traditional calendar layout, fostering an immersive user experience. The data used will encompass lunar phase information for each day of the year. Drawing upon a diverse range of data sources the project aimed to provide users with comprehensive contextual understanding. Additionally, the narrative data outlined the order of moon phases within a lunar month, distinguishing between primary and intermediate phases. While quantitative aspects such as specific dates for special moon events and eclipses were incorporated, the project primarily focused on nominal and narrative data to enrich user comprehension. Challenging the conventional boundaries of design, data visualization, and animation, the project demanded a meticulous balance between functionality and aesthetics.
